Favorite Websites

Just felt like sharing some of my favorite websites I like to visit some daily or just whenever I think about it.

iMOM  provide mothers of all ages with information, ideas and encouragement to help them grow wise, healthy, purpose-minded, relationally-focused children. It is an amazing website for mom’s, I look forward to my Espresso Minute every day in my inbox. http://www.imom.com/

They also have their sister sights All Pro Dad.  All Pro Dad helps men become better fathers through NFL seminars, school-based All Pro Dad’s Days http://allprodad.com/ Coach Tony Dungy is the Ambassador for this site and his wife for iMOM. Also they have Family First, promotes principles for building marriages and raising children through three successful programs.http://www.familyfirst.net/

My friend Lisa has a great blog! She is on 92.3 NOW in NYC and she is the bubbliest, happiest, out going person. She is so cute especially now that she has just yelled to the world she is pregnant. I know I would be too, it is soooo cute! She does have some great fashion tips too and finds the cutest clothes!http://www.pamperedwithpaige.com/

If you know me and have been on the good end of my baking sprees, I love baking! My parents gave me a Kitchen Aid mixer a few years ago and made a batch of chocolate chip cookies and the rest was history. I have not stopped baking and now I make my own cakes, cookies, breads and soon biscotti. So where do I get my recipes well on website I always check first is http://www.cooks.com/ I have the basis of so many recipes and never been disappointed.  I did go for the original chocolate chip cookie from Nestle and added a little extra to make it my own but their website http://www.verybestbaking.com/ has some great dessert recipes too!

I made a from scratch chocolate cake with from scratch frosting tonight for dessert and this is the only time I eat cake with frosting and it was YUMMY! I just used HERSHEY’S “PERFECTLY CHOCOLATE” Chocolate Cake and frosting. http://www.hersheys.com/recipes.aspx HERSHEY'S Natural Unsweetened Cocoa

I love to crochet too and have been on a serious roll and never want to stop. It calms me and I love making things for my family and friends for gifts on special occasions and it came in handy this winter, I made a bunch of scarves for me, Jeff and the kids. Also made a few Christmas presents too. So a few of the sites I like to go to for patterns are Crochet Pattern Central http://crochetpatterncentral.com/ It’s basically a link network for all patterns on the web and also I do go to the yarn companies sites. http://lionbrand.com/, http://www.redheart.com/, http://bernat.com/, and http://www.sugarncream.com/ I find so many patterns I wish I was an octopus just to do all the ones I want and trust me I love going to the store for a yarn haul!

Another site I visit daily is of course Glenn Beck’s website, not just to find out what is going on in the world but to hear my hubby on there too. http://www.glennbeck.com/. The Blaze http://www.theblaze.com/ is a good news source too. On This Day is a day in history with quotes of the day and you can find some pretty interesting stuff http://www.on-this-day.com/.

For the Scout leader in me I have a few I visit at least every other day and here you go for that. http://scouting.org/, http://www.boyscouttrail.com/ these are great for information any scouter needs. One I came across looking for a patch I found Boy Scout Store  http://www.boyscoutstore.com/ (not affiliated with the BSA) but does have some really cool spoof patches.

When I do need official BSA gear and patches I go to http://scoutstuff.org/bsasupply/.

I think I have given enough for now and will have more another time.  Happy Surfing!!!!!!!
